Merch Ou Crève is a screen printing, DTF transfer and embroidery shop located in Saint-Eustache, Quebec. The information we collect
When you request a quote
- your name;
- your organization’s name (optional);
- your email address;
- your phone number (optional);
- the project type, quantity and details you describe;
- the files you attach to your request (logo, design, mock-up), up to three;
- whether you already have vector files and whether you would like to receive the newsletter.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
Your email address, plus the date and the page you subscribed from.
Automatically, when you visit the site
Technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, collected by our host and by Cloudflare to run and protect the site and to measure its traffic.
We do not collect any payment information on this site. We do not sell or rent your information.
Why we use it
- to answer your quote request and follow up, and to prepare your proofs and your order from the files you send us;
- to send you our newsletter, if you have consented;
- to run and secure the site, and to measure its traffic;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We only use your information for these purposes. For any other use, we would ask for your consent first.
Consent and newsletter
By submitting the quote form, you agree that we use the information you provide to answer your request. Newsletter subscription is based on your explicit consent: the corresponding checkbox is never ticked in advance. Every newsletter will include a simple way to unsubscribe, and you can also withdraw your consent at any time by writing to print@merchoucreve.com.
Who we share your information with
We use service providers who process information on our behalf:
- Bluehost: hosting of the website and its database;
- Google Workspace: sending and receiving emails, including requests and files submitted through the form;
- Cloudflare: domain name management, security, performance and traffic statistics.
These providers may store or process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. We do not disclose your information to anyone else, unless required by law.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests and attached files: as long as needed to answer and follow up, then at most 24 months after our last exchange. Files are deleted together with the request;
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe;
- Technical data: according to our providers’ retention periods, generally short.
After these periods, information is destroyed or anonymized.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Attached files are kept in a private area of the site that is not publicly accessible. Access to the site’s administration and to the requests we receive is limited to authorized people and protected by credentials, two-factor authentication and a temporary lockout after repeated failed login attempts. As no system is infallible, if a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as the law requires.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. It may set technical cookies needed for it to work, for example from the host or from Cloudflare’s protection, and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure overall traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You may, at any time:
- find out what information we hold about you and get a copy;
- have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
- withdraw your consent, including unsubscribing from the newsletter;
- ask us to stop using your information or to delete it, in the cases provided by law;
- receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
To exercise these rights, write to us at print@merchoucreve.com. We reply within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page, and any significant change will be announced on the site.
